Hawaii Women Lawyers is pleased to present its International Women’s Day Symposium on Friday, March 1st.
This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is #InspireInclusion. Speakers for the event include Gillian Thomas (Senior Staff Attorney for the ACLU Women’s Rights Project in New York), House Representative Della Au Belatti, Keala Kennelly (Award-Winning Pro Surfer), and Cathy Betts (Director, Hawaii Dept. of Human Services).
Speakers will discuss the history, current status, and future of the women’s rights movement, with a particular focus on how we as a community can support women and girls in leadership, decision-making, business, and sports.
