Please join us on April 21 to hear a fun and dynamic speaker who will share invaluable tips on organizational leadership, re-inventing your career and successful multi-tasking!

How do you turn a law career into non-profit leadership?  Coralie Matayoshi went from practicing law to leading the HSBA and American Red Cross.  What does it take to run a successful non-profit organization and how can legal and other skills translate into the non-profit world?  How can non-profit work enhance your life and career?  Coralie will share lessons she learned along the way, including work, life, and balance.

Coralie Matayoshi is the Regional CEO of the American Red Cross Hawaii & Pacific Islands, overseeing a budget of $5.7 million and 4,000 volunteers.  She previously served as Executive Director of the Hawaii State Bar Association and Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division in Washington D.C.  A mother of three, Coralie was named by Pacific Business News as 2010 Businesswoman of the Year for nonprofits, and currently serves on the University of Hawaii Board of Regents.

Invite a friend or colleague - the more, the merrier!  Please respond to rosep@ahfi.com by Wednesday, April 16 if possible, to let us know if you are coming.  We will meet at the Plaza Club, 20th Floor, 900 Fort Street Mall, on April 21 at Noon.  We will have an in-room lunch buffet with salad, soup, sandwich and desert for $22 (tea/drink is another $4-$5).  If you are an HWL member, mention that in your RSVP and you will be entered in a drawing for two free lunches for HWL members.  If you need to cancel after making an RSVP, please let us know ASAP, before the reservation deadline, so we don't get charged for your meal!
