Clean Energy Hawai`i

Monday, September 26, 2016

Offices of Hawaii State Bar Association

1100 Alakea Street, Suite 1000

Sponsored by Hawaii Women Lawyers and the Hawaii State Bar Association

It is no secret that Hawai`i’s dependence on oil threatens the sustainability of our economy and the future of our environment. Initiatives around the State are charting new paths towards an energy-independent future for Hawai`i, bringing together business leaders, policy makers, and concerned citizens. Join us to discuss the various initiatives being led around the State, the status of the Hawai`i Clean Energy Initiative, and how the federal and state governments will play a role in our energy future.

Speakers:

HECO’s Darcy Endo-Omoto, Vice President, Government and Community Relations, Hawaiian Electric Company

Veronica Rocha, Renewable Energy Program Manager, Hawaii State Energy Office

Leslie Cole Brooks, Executive Director, Distributed Energy Resources Council
