Ellen Godbey Carson is a former president of the Hawai'i State Bar Association, Hawai’i Women Lawyers, IHS, Hale Kipa and Sex Abuse Treatment Center. For 20+ years, she was a director and rainmaker for Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing. She is now happily retired, and continues to enjoy advocating for social justice issues.  

 

Melissa Pavlicek is the president of Hawai'i Public Policy Advocates, LLC, a government relations consulting firm. Licensed to practice law in Hawai'i, she is a 1996 graduate of the Wm. S. Richardson School of Law. She serves as a lobbyist before the state legislature and local city councils.  


Maile Osika is a Senior Managing Associate at Dentons US LLP where she practices general commercial litigation.  Her areas of focus are contract, intellectual property, construction, and real estate disputes.  Prior to working at Dentons, Maile was an associate with Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing and a legislative attorney at the House Majority Staff Office.  Maile earned her JD from the University of Hawaii Richardson School of Law in 2012 and is a proud graduate of Hawaii public schools.


Alana Peacott-Ricardos (moderator) is the General Counsel and Compliance/BSA/CRA Officer for Finance Factors, Limited.  Prior to joining Finance Factors, she was a litigator focused on medical malpractice defense, and has previously worked for two local firms.  Alana is a graduate of Boston University and the University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law.
