Accelerating achievement of gender parity within business at large is an economic imperative. The world can’t afford to wait as long as some estimates predict – another 80 years – for women to achieve gender parity in the workplace.
To accelerate achievement of gender parity we need purposeful action by both men and women to recruit, retain, and advance women in equal proportion to their numbers and commensurate with the limitless potential they offer in the workplace.

Janelle serves as the Executive Director of Diversity & Inclusion Services at Ernst & Young Advisory Co., Ltd., which uses a sector-focused approach and global deliver capabilities to help clients transform their business processes and sustain the improvements.
She drives client engagement through programs designed to better attract and retain talent, especially through business profit, innovation and flexibility.
Based in Tokyo, Japan, she advises on innovative Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) practices in the workplace for Japan and the Asian Pacific Region. As a well-known D&I expert, Janelle guides top Japanese and multi-national clients on designing and executing workforce, work style and marketplace solutions to create an inclusive culture. She also is a frequent international speaker on Diversity & Inclusion.
Janelle has shared Women. Fast Forward at numerous meetings and events. She is frequently asked to speak at local and global events, and she participated in an International Women’s Day event in Tokyo as a featured speaker. Janelle shared her expertise on global diversity and inclusiveness issues at the 2016 Annual Conference of The Forum on Workplace Inclusion, which was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In Hawaii, Janelle has presented at ASB Hawaii, US Japan Council Hawaii Chapter and Womenomics Roundtable discussions.
